MEET YOUR GUIDE
I spent two decades
inside modern pressure.
ZenMynd grew from learning how ancient practice could help me meet leadership, ambition, uncertainty, and responsibility without losing contact with myself.

BEFORE ZENMYND
A career shaped by
design and leadership.
For most of my career, I worked in a world of deadlines, product launches, and leadership meetings. I spent more than 20 years in design leadership, most recently at Dell, helping teams build products used by millions of people.
I was good at the work. I also watched talented people burn out, stop sleeping, and lose touch with themselves while chasing the next milestone. Some days, I was one of them.
THE PRACTICE BENEATH THE WORK
Ancient teachings became
practical tools for modern life.
What kept me steady was a practice I had carried since childhood: meditation, breathwork, and yoga, rooted in the Eastern traditions I grew up around.
A few minutes of conscious breathing before a difficult conversation changed how that conversation unfolded. A morning sitting practice changed how I led my team. These teachings were never an escape from modern life. They helped me participate in it with greater awareness and choice.
You do not need to leave your life behind. You need practices that help you meet it differently.
WHY I BUILT ZENMYND
Knowledge becomes wisdom
when it can be lived.
In 2024, I left corporate life to build ZenMynd full-time. My work brings together yogic science, meditation, breath, principles from samurai discipline, modern research on the nervous system, and more than two decades inside professional organizations.
I translate those ideas into language and practices that fit a busy life. The aim is not to collect more information. It is to move from knowing, to practicing, to experiencing, until a useful idea becomes part of how you live.
I have guided hundreds of people through live meditation classes, breathwork sessions, private guidance, and retreats. My upcoming book, Your Breath Already Knows, explores how ancient breathing practices can help us respond to the stress and exhaustion of modern life.
TRAINING AND BACKGROUND
Where design, disciplined practice, and teaching meet.
My education began across engineering, music, and design. My contemplative training has continued through traditional lineages and modern programs, always with the same question: what helps a person live with greater awareness in the middle of real life?
200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Sri Sri School of Yoga · Training in Vipassana and yogic meditation
25 years teaching pranayama and meditation · Visiting teacher, Chinmaya Mission Austin
Nearly 30 years in design leadership, most recently at Dell
Filmmaker of Maya and The Truth
Study in traditional Eastern teachings and modern programs exploring meditation, consciousness, breath, and the nervous system
BEYOND THE WORK
A nervous rescue animal teaches you a great deal about patience.
At home, I am husband to Meera, a nurse, and father to Maya. Over the past year and a half, our family has fostered 24 dogs and cats. Caring for an animal learning to feel safe is its own quiet practice in steadiness, trust, and attention.
AUSTIN · AND AROUND THE WORLD
I would be glad
to walk alongside you.
Whether you are a leader carrying a heavy load, a professional running on empty, or someone who simply wants to feel more at home in your own body, the work begins in the same place: noticing what is happening and creating enough space to choose your response.
I live and teach in Austin, Texas, and work with people and organizations around the world.
